09.29.08 - goCrossFit Nashville raises $1,300 for The Prostate Cancer Foundation through its Fight Gone Bad Charity workout
Dilligent hard work by goCrossFitters resulted in a great fundraising effort and a killer Fight Gone Bad workout on Saturday, September 27th!! There were 19 participants in this year’s workout. Of these, 6 participants raised money for the fundraising effort. Thanks to everyone who participated in the workout and to those who donated to the cause!


08.30.08 - Monday/Wednesday/Friday Noon Classes Now Available
Starting Wednesday September 3rd, goCrossFit classes are expanding to include a 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m. class on Monday, Wednesday, Friday!! Now, you can do a 20-30 minute CrossFit class and still have time to shower up and get back to work before your lunch hour is up. You can sign-up for them now using the “Online Scheduler”.

CrossFit affiliates across the country, including Go Performance & Fitness, will host a “Fight Gone Bad” workout on Saturday, September 27th with participants raising money for The Prostate Cancer Foundation. Register for the event at “Athletes For a Cure” where participants receive their own website for contacting donors and collecting donations. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, September 24th. If you are interested in participating or donating to the cause, please see a Go Performance Staff member for more information.

08.04.08 - goCrossFit Games Results- The goCrossFit Games on Saturday, August, 2nd were a huge success! We had 12 participants in what we hope will be a growing, regularly scheduled day of CrossFit “fun”. The front page of our website now has an awesome video of the Games (Thanks to Terry Lecroix for putting that together), and there are also pics from the Games on our “Action Shots” page. Congrats to our male Champ, Clark Smith, and our female Champ, Kate Tong! Check out our message board for the rest of the results.

06.19.08 - goCrossFit Class Run to the Sounds Game On Thursday, June 19th, several goCrossFitters took a 1.6 mile run after class from Cummins Station (home of Go Performance and Fitness) to Greer Stadium to catch an evening Nashville Sounds baseball game. It was a great workout and great evening to watch some baseball. Check out the group shot at the stadium in the Action Shots section.

06.15.08 - Clark Smith joins the goCrossFit training staff- If you’ve noticed a new face leading the AM CrossFit classes, that’s former CrossFit student and now master, Clark Smith, who is here for the summer to bring some excitement and intensity to the morning classes. We’re all excited to have him on board!!


04.07.08 - CrossFit in the Park a Huge Success- CrossFit in the Park on Saturday, April 5th at Centennial Park was awesome! Despite weather being not very “Spring-like”, the class ran, jumped, pushed, and squated their way through the workout. Big thanks to Terry, Sally, Chelsea, and Brad for coming out! After the workout, we all headed to Cafe Coco for some nourishment and conversation. Stay tuned for more CrossFit in the Park sessions! Details to follow.
